DETERMINATION OF THE PLASMA DENSITY BY A NEW APPROACH TO MEASURING THE PHASE SHIFT OF PROBING SIGNALS

The measuring procedure for determining an average plasma electron density in the stellarators "Uragan-2M" and "Uragan-3M" is described. The first results of plasma electron density measurements carried out in the on-line regime are presented. The theoretical justification of the new method for measuring changes of probing signal phase shift is given.
