Limit of Iterates of Cascade Addition of Matrices

With the cascade connection of electrical multiport networks as a model, the cascade sum of two positive semi-definite matrices has been considered. The existence of the limit of iterates of cascade addition of a single matrix is proved and various characterizations for the limit are presented.
