Procedures of mathematical modeling of a nonhomogeneous integral information transmission system with a heterogeneous traffic, which take into account nonhomogeneity of the protocols of interaction of subsystems for obtaining a single method for solution of problems related to selection of a structure, development of a model, principles of its investigation and modeling, and the need to transfer from really existing similar systems to search of the indicated methods, have been analyzed.
