The reduction of loading errors of a transformer bridge using NICS

The theory and test results of a technique to reduce the loading errors of a double wound transformer bridge are presented. Two negative impedance convertors (NICS) and a second transformer with its primary winding short-circuited are employed for this purpose. Using this scheme, the errors due to loading could be decreased to very low values even with a transformer having cold rolled silicon steel core and working at audiofrequencies.
