On A Method of Comparing Inductance and Capacity
W. E. Forsythe · Physical Review · 1913
TN comparing inductance and capacity by the ordinary bridge methods, -*• it is often difficult to know just what resistances to choose. This is due to the fact that there are generally two conditions of balance, the first, the steady current balance, and the second, the one due to the reactance; the second condition, in general, depending upon the first. It often happens that with the capacity and inductance to be compared, the first balance will be so chosen that the second balance cannot be obtained. In the method outlined below this difficulty has been overcome, due to the fact that the two conditions of balance are independent.
