Software engineering using SDL

For the past five years the Protocol Interworking group within BT has been responsible for the design and implementation of telecommunications products. These products are used to integrate peripheral equipment into the telecom network and to solve protocol interworking problems as part of the offering of commercial telecom services. The development of these products has been achieved by adopting a software development process based around the formal language SDL. (3 pages)
