Developing the 7R/E™ Packet Network Solution requires merging traditional telecommunication operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning (OAM&P) capabilities with the fast-paced, high-churn world of data switching and dedicated element management systems (EMSs). The OneLink Manager™ EMS is designed to merge these worlds. It allows rapid integration of disparate technologies and equipment from third-party vendors into a coordinated OAM&P system with a unified standards-based interface. The architecture can grow in breadth and depth of function and in scale to support the largest switching/data centers.
