Loudspeaker Design and the Mathematical Theory of High Fidelity

Osman K. Mawardi · The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America · 1973

An attempt is made to develop an objective procedure to assess the quality of loudspeakers. The method is based on the premise that the evaluation of loudspeakers can be viewed as a problem in experimental esthetics. Borrowing on techniques used in psychology, a scale of merit is devised which is adapted to prescribe loudspeaker-design guide lines.
