A wireless sensor network is a system of spatially distributed sensor nodes to collect important information about the target environment. A major challenge in wireless sensor network is it operates in an unattended environment, with limited computational and sensing capabilities. WSN are used in many applications, such as surveillance, environment and habitat monitoring, structural health monitoring, health care, home automation and traffic control. In this work we have proposed a technique does node localization and groups the sensor node for collaborative processing to make efficient utilization of power and enhance the rate of data reliability during aggregation. This paper presents social behavior of dolphins as a biologically inspired swarm intelligence to address the efficient use of energy in sensor nodes.
