A Convenient and Economical Method for FPGA Data Configuration by MCU

In this paper, we provide a convenient and economical method for configuring data into FPGA serial configuration devices by MCU. We develop an active serial configuration scheme and a XModem protocol by MCU. Experiment results show that our approach is simpler and more convenient to be implemented.
