Relational Databases Access based on RDF View

Large amounts of data in legacy system are stored in relational databases, and therefore there are requirements of exposing relational databases into RDF for the Semantic Web. RDF view based approach for accessing to relational databases is proposed in this paper, which provides SPARQL query services for relational databases. The SPARQL query over RDF view is rewritten into an equivalent SQL query executed against databases, and then results sets of SQL query are wrapped in RDF form. The prototype of this approach is feasible.
