In the Information Age, one of the real difficulties with publishing seems to be the time delay between when an author wrote their piece and when it gets published. That’s a general issue, but within the technology industry, so much shifts and changes so quickly that a compilation of articles that date as far back as 1999 (in one instance) read as very behind the times and it is hard to stick with the volume and get the best out of it as there is little that feels current enough now to cling to. Also, this volume has a high percentage of contributions with a US focus, which holds less relevance to a broader readership (even though most UK technology legislation follows the US).
