Direct translation of Brzozowski's ‘linor-hat’ language into the conventional regular expression†

This paper deals with the direct translation of a new language developed by Brzozowski (which may be called ‘linor-hat’ language) into the conventional form of regular expression. We start from certain expansions for the compact ‘linor-hat’ formulations and arrive at the translation by applying certain lemmas and theorems developed in the paper.
