Feature analysis of normal-hearing and hearing-impaired childrens' errors on the NST

The nonsense syllable test (NST) was presented to normal-hearing and hearing-impaired children whose verbal responses were phonetically transcribed and converted to confusion matrices. These data were also submitted to multidimensional scaling analyses to determine perceptual features used by the subjects. Features for each group are presented.
