On the stationary points of coulomb's potential generated by point charges

The problem of finding the exact number and the coordinates of stationary points of the potential generated by a static configuration of point charges is investigated with the aid of symbolic algebraic algorithms. We also establish the bifurcation picture in the space of parameters of the configuration.
