Fuzzy modelling of a pilot plant rotary dryer

A fuzzy model is developed for a rotary dryer. The model is implemented using a linguistic equations (LE) approach. The method is suitable for the modelling of a rotary dryer with fast tuning properties. The model is applied to a pilot plant rotary dryer located in Control Engineering Laboratory at Oulu University.
