Professor T. J. Head has kindly pointed out an error in Propositions 15 and 16.Both propositions are correct if one deletes the assertion E(g)F = E x F. The statements formalized as Remarks on page 691 and 694 are also incorrect and should be deleted.No other propositions nor their proofs are affected.
