Lattices of Simplex Type
Arnold Neumaier · SIAM Journal on Algebraic and Discrete Methods · 1983
Lattices of simplex type provide a common setting for the Leech lattice, a lattice related to Shult and Yanushka’s [Geom. Dedicata, 9 (1980), pp. 1–72] very regular line system with 256 lines and Du Val’s [Proc. London Math. Soc., 42 (1937), pp. 18–51] hyperbolic version of the root system $E_8 $. Many other examples are given.
