P‐4: A Reconfigurable Stereomicroscopic Imaging System for Digital Pathology

Abstract A reconfigurable stereomicroscope system consisting of exchangeable light source, condenser, objectives, cameras, and 3D display was designed to allow the user to adjust the convergence angle, magnification and color rendering arbitrarily. To evaluate the depth resolution of the proposed 3D system, miniature 3D models were used as test patterns in psychophysical experiments.
