A fully programmable system for the study of catalytic gas reactions
Eugen Gehrer, Konrad Hayek · Journal of Physics E Scientific Instruments · 1985
The design of a fully programmable reaction system is described which allows the control and study of several gas reactions in parallel. In analogy to a microprocessor system it is based on a bus principle. Its inherent advantages are: the hardware is not restricted to the solution of one single problem, the course of an experiment is determined only by the software, and the bus system allows an easy extension of the system without much additional effort. Other advantages of the special system described are high speed and low cost.
