Nowadays, the measurement system development implies the use of hardware and software. It evaluation performance for Real-Time or Dynamic applications is complicated because their development depends on physical features and compute capability of the used hardware. Smart sensors are used in actual measurement system development. An important functionality of the smart sensors is the compensation to eliminate the systematic errors and to ease the calibration. The evaluation of compensation algorithms to determine its performance for Real-Time or Dynamic applications is important. This paper presents the dynamic evaluation of The Polynomial Progressive Compensation Algorithm programmed in a commercial hardware with low compute capability. The performance of the algorithm embedded in a microcontroller was evaluated using systems theory and the sinusoidal response test. A transfer function in z-transform is proposed and the features for Real-Time or dynamic applications are presented. With this methodology other measurement systems can be evaluated.
