Concept for reconstruction of MUS portal into UESIE via creation of New University hardware modular integral system

The paper describes the principles, approaches and steps for the reconstruction of the information and educational system of the Medical University -- Sofia. The type and the functions of the system before and after the reconstruction are compared. The advantages and the shortages of the initial system (mono-block type) and the new integral modular system with hardware distributed database are discussed. Some original software and hardware decisions are presented.
