Computers, geometry andS‐bends
Tim Everton, Seamus Dunn · International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology · 1984
The paper refers briefly to the general potential of computers in the teaching of geometry and then goes on to look at ‘Turtle Geometry'—a kind of locus geometry for computers. A simple program is given together with some of the interesting patterns that it can generate. The analysis which follows this is an attempt to demonstrate the complexity of the geometry to which computer programs of this kind can lead.
