Digital camera zooming on colour filter array

An efficient zooming algorithm for single-sensor digital cameras is introduced. Excellent objective results and sharp, visually pleasing colour outputs are achieved using a colour difference model and an adaptive edge sensing mechanism. Operating on the noise-free colour filter array data, the approach greatly reduces complexity at the hardware level.
