INTERPOLATION OF MULTIPLIER COEFFICIENTS OF AN ELLIPTIC WAVE DIGITAL FILTER

Since the characteristics of an elliptic filter are generally more complex, the required multiplier coefficients of an elliptic wave-digital filter are usually computed from table values. To avoid such an inconvenience and to exploit today's PC capability in terms of storage and speed, we found that it is sufficient to store only a few pre-calculated values and other coefficients can be obtained by employing a computationally simple and fast interpolation routine.
