New identity and Korn's inequalities on a surface

We establish an identity satisfied by smooth-enough vector fields defined on a surface S ⊂ R 3 with values in R 3 . As consequences of this identity, we establish several new Korn inequalities for vector fields that vanish on the entire boundary of this surface.
