New strategies for complete game trees

Game playing has a long and rich history in computer science and more particularly artificial intelligence. It has served as both a source of problems for and as applications of AI techniques, see for example [2, p.113]. There have been many papers published on various heuristics, evaluation functions and search strategies for game playing.
