Comparing object-oriented analysis with knowledge acquisition
Hermann Kaindl · ACM SIGPLAN OOPS Messenger · 1994
Based on our experience and a theoretical comparison, we see an interesting relationship betweenobject-oriented analysisin software engineering and certain aspects ofknowledge acquisitionin the course of buildingknowledge-based (expert) systems. In particular, we discuss here issues of modeling and the process dimension, i.e., how to do this modeling. According to this relationship, these fields should be able to stimulate each other.
