Impact of timing constraints on real-time database recovery

In this paper, we discuss how timing constznints affect three major database recovery activities: logging, checkpointing and dAtAbase reloading.We then present several schemes to handle these activities in a real-time main memory database system and their performance results obtained via simulation.Further improvement of these schemes is also provided.
