An algorithm for computing formula representations of instances of the generalized hypergeometric fhnction is presented.Examples of lookup routine certificates and the underlying theory of the algorithm are discussed in the paper.Finally, a gallery of results are presented and the algorithm is compared to already existing routines in Macsyma, Maple, and Mathematical. 1
