Chi-Square Probabilities are Poisson Probabilities in Disguise

Since chi-square probabilities and Poisson probabilities are different forms of the same mathematical function, it is reasonable to use the chi-square tables for obtaining Poisson probabilities (for example, the Pearson & Hartley, Biometrica Tables).
