Abstract A method for the design of the amplifier coupling circuit is presented in a form permitting the selection of circuit constants directly from a specified band width, peak frequency, and peak frequency coupling loss. The design procedure is illustrated by several practical examples; the limitations of the narrow-band amplifier are discussed.
