ESPRIT Networks of Excellence are Europe-wide communities of interest in key areas of IT research. CaberNet is the Network of Excellence in distributed systems architectures. It brings together a number of internationally-ranked European research groups who are researching the problems of designing large-scale distributed computing systems and investigating the opportunities provided by them.
