Cloud datacenters are incorporating diverse workloads with different service models, such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). Multiplexing various cloud service models on the same cluster, instead of maintaining a separate cluster for each one, is the key to increasing the resource utilization and lowering the operation costs for the cloud providers. However, it is challenging to achieve multi-resource sharing among different services while preserving performance isolation among them.
