Features of application of video capture devices in television pyrometers

The results of measurements of the signal-to-noise ratio and the characteristics of analog-to-digital conversion of a typical EasyCAP OTP-128 video capture device based on a Philips SAA7113 video processor are described. The possibility of its application in television pyrometers and the necessity of adjusting the parameters of the video processor during calibration of the pyrometer against a test image are shown.
