Comparison of Finite Difference and Wavelet-Galerkin Methods for the Solution of Telegraph Equations

To compare different difference schemes for the approximation of partial differential equations, one can analyse the dispersion behaviour of these schemes. This paper gives a dispersion analysis for several difference schemes for the solution of telegraph equations derived by Wavelet-Galerkin and Finite-Difference methods.
