Abstract An interactive program on flat panel displays is being developed as an educational resource for the display community. While it will introduce the scientific, mathematical, engineering, and human factors concepts that influence display design, it is intended to complement traditional training in the sciences and engineering for those entering the display field and to serve as a comprehensive resource for display engineers.
