Research on the Multiple Attributes of Virtual Currency and its Regulation

According to virtual currency's developing period, its four attributes and regulation is examined in this paper. Virtual currency's commodity attribute, currency attribute, "virtual" attribute and legislation attribute are discussed respectively. Based on its present functions, commodity attribute is proclaimed to be its nature.And then setting up virtual currency's access system, censorship, early warning mechanism, crisis management mechanism and improving technology management are explored to improve its regulation. The study provides a theoretical and practical foundation for virtual currency management.
