Imagine a world where the arguments for technological advancement come so fast and are so forceful that all other issues become secondary. You may think this is a description of the growth of the Internet in the past few years, but the issues of the Internet pale in size and importance when you look at what is ahead. The Internet is but one medium, the brave new world of the future will encompass an increasing number of converging technologies without a unifying infrastructure of legislation or security protocols to make them safe.
