On the combinatorial entropy of athermal polymer solutions

Abstract A computer simulation of the lattice model of an athermal polymer solution shows that the Huggins formula for the combinatorial entropy is a rather good approximation. It also appears that the mean dimension of the chains decreases as the concentration of the solution increases.
