An improved apparatus for the differential thermal analysis of minerals

An automatic apparatus for carrying out the differential thermal analysis of minerals is described. The apparatus used by some other authors is discussed briefly. The electronics of the proportioning temperature control is described and circuit diagrams and an indication of the performance of the control and differential amplifiers are given.
