CHARGE QUANTIZATION, EXOTIC FERMIONS AND SOME EXTENSIONS OF THE STANDARD MODEL

Some extensions to the standard model have been proposed, which require new fermions for the electroweak anomalies to cancel. We investigate some of these theories, and examine the possibility of cancelling the anomalies and yet preserve the charge quantization feature of the standard model.
