Abstract This paper outlines how new technology and materials and an integrated approach to design have been used to solve some of the problems encountered in the design of a Head Mounted Display for simulation and visualization. The SEOS HMD 120/40 features a truly immersive field of view in a lightweight, wellbalanced package.
