The massive growth in the mobile phone and handheld device markets has created an impact on computer science education, especially in curricula for wireless networking, information security, and mobile application development. Meanwhile, there is an urgent need to produce more qualified computer professionals in mobile networking and security for the global workforce. In this paper, we propose and implement labware for networking and network-security using Android mobile devices. The labware is designed according the layered TCP/IP model with well-developed and self-contained learning modules. The labware is highly modularized and ready for adoption elsewhere.
