Parallel Compilation In A Multiprocessor Environment (Extended Abstract)

Considerable research has been devoted to the problem of compiling on the one hand and to the design of software for multiprocessor systems on the other. Efforts have been made toward compiling code for use in parallel environments. However, to date few serious attempts have been made to study the development of compilers capable of fully exploiting parallel architectures. The thrust of this paper involves investigating precisely that problem.
