Improvements to the anisotropic diffusion model for 2-D echo image processing

A new model of anisotropic diffusion is applied to 2-D echo images. It is the sharpest possible among the image smoothing methods preserving uniqueness and stability as the smoothing gets finer and finer. Several experimental results are shown.
