THE PARALLEL PROCESSING FEATURE OF THE NEC SX-3 SUPERCOMPUTER SYSTEM

The parallel processing feature of the SX-3 is introduced. First, the hardware feature implemented on the parallel architecture, which includes both vector and parallel processing, is described. Then the software support, which ranges from operating system kernel to the compiler for the parallel feature, is also described.
