Horowitz minimum-sensitivity decomposition

It is shown that, for the class of active networks for which either the attenuation function or the phase characteristic alone is of importance, Horowitz minimum-sensitivity decomposition does not lead to optimally sensitive networks. Some consequences and implications of this are discussed in an example.
