A DEFORMATION OPERATOR OF THE VIRASORO ALGEBRAIC CONSTRAINTS IN MATRIX MODELS

Following the method of Dijkgraaf et al. a deformation operator P(q) is constructed from the KP hierarchy theory. It is explicitly shown that the deformation operator P(q) can be used to define a recursion relation of the Virasoro constraints on the two- and three-matrix models theory, respectively.
