A multiprogramming system for a microcomputer
A. J. Smith, D. Bell · Software Practice and Experience · 1982
Abstract A multiprogramming operating system nucleus has been constructed for a microcomputer. An account is given of the implementation, analysing the problems encountered, the magnitude of the effort required and the performance characteristics. The aim is to aid other implementors by drawing attention to those aspects of the work likely to be characteristic of microcomputer implementations in general.
